Who this policy covers
This policy explains how The Favorite Design (TFD), operated by 9490-9637 Québec inc., handles personal information about visitors to this business website, prospective clients, customers and people who contact our team.
Our business services include exclusive insurance lead delivery and acquisition systems built for advisors and agencies. Consumer information collected through a PlanBridge insurance campaign requires a separate notice at collection explaining the information requested, the receiving agency, contact permissions and any paid disclosure. This business-site policy does not itself obtain consent to an insurance solicitation or authorize the transfer of a consumer lead.
Information you give us
When you contact us, request a custom plan, book a call or become a client, we may receive:
- Your name, business email, phone number and agency or company details.
- Your insurance products, markets, business goals, current acquisition process, team size and budget preferences.
- Your messages, support requests and the information you choose to include.
- Billing details, order requirements and service communications needed to manage a client relationship.
Please avoid sending consumer medical information, identity documents, passwords or payment card details through a general inquiry form or email.
Forms, bookings and website data
The current custom-plan form prepares an email in your email application. Completing its fields does not send the plan to us; you must send the prepared email. We receive the contents you send. Follow the notice beside any other inquiry form to understand how it submits information.
Booking links open Calendly. Information you enter there is processed by Calendly under its own privacy notice and used to arrange your meeting. Your email provider and other external services also have their own privacy practices.
Hosting and security providers may process technical request data, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp, to deliver and protect the website. Where analytics or advertising tools are enabled, their use must be disclosed and any required consent obtained.
Why we use information
- Answer your questions, prepare proposals and arrange calls.
- Set up, deliver and support the services you request.
- Manage orders, invoices, client relationships and agreed campaign reporting.
- Maintain the website, investigate technical problems and prevent misuse.
- Meet legal and recordkeeping duties and resolve disputes.
Marketing communications are subject to the permissions and opt-out choices applicable to you. We do not treat sending a business inquiry as unlimited permission for unrelated marketing.
Messages and contact preferences
If you opt into customer-care SMS through a support channel, the messages relate to that inquiry or service request. Frequency varies and message or data charges may apply. Consent to support messages is not a condition of purchase.
Reply STOP to stop messages from that messaging service, or HELP for assistance. You can also email us with the number concerned and ask us to stop contacting you. Customer-care SMS opt-in information is not provided to affiliates or other businesses for their unrelated promotional use.
For marketing emails, use the unsubscribe option where provided or contact us. We may retain a minimal suppression record to respect your request and continue sending necessary service or legal notices.
Storage, retention and security
We keep information for the purposes described here, including client support, accounting, legal obligations and handling disputes. The relevant purpose, sensitivity and applicable requirements determine how long a record is needed. Records should be deleted or anonymized when no longer required, subject to lawful exceptions.
Lead-record retention. TFD retains full delivered-lead records, including assessment answers, for up to 12 months after delivery to review lead-quality complaints and disputes. A record may be kept longer to the extent needed for an unresolved dispute or an applicable legal requirement. After that period, the full operational record is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required for those purposes.
Undelivered prospect records may be retained for potential placement for up to 12 months from the original inquiry. Continued retention following a genuinely renewed inquiry requires a renewed purpose and the appropriate permissions. Older inquiries require reconfirmation of interest and contact permissions before delivery.
Limited delivery-history records, consent evidence and opt-out records have separate retention purposes and schedules. They are retained only as needed for those purposes and applicable requirements. Retaining a delivery record does not authorize resale of a delivered exclusive lead.
Our cloud providers may process information outside Quebec or Canada. Privacy protections and access by authorities can differ in other jurisdictions. You can contact us about the providers involved in your service.
We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards, with access appropriate to the work being performed. No online service can promise complete security.
Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information, withdraw consent, object to certain uses or exercise other available privacy rights. Some records may need to be retained for legal reasons.
Email hello@thefavoritedesign.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Tell us what you would like us to do and provide enough information to locate your record. We may ask for proportionate verification and will respond within the applicable legal timeframe. If you disagree with our response, you can ask us to review it and contact your privacy regulator.
TFD’s Privacy Officer reviews requests manually through hello@thefavoritedesign.com. After verifying the request as appropriate, we update TFD’s records and notify any receiving agency where the request concerns information delivered to it. For a contact opt-out, we record the restriction so the inquiry is not placed or used for further contact contrary to that request.
A receiving agency may also hold its own record and is responsible for responding under its own privacy obligations. Contact it directly as well as contacting us; updating TFD’s systems does not itself delete a separate copy held by that agency.
Children and sensitive information
This website is intended for adults seeking business services. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps.
Policy updates
We will post changes here and revise the date above. Where a change requires notice or fresh consent, we will follow those requirements. A policy update alone does not create consent for a new use of information.
